CC3 Challenge # 20

Hi everybody!  Never a dull moment around here lately . My background on my blog keeps disappearing intermittently; hopefully what ever is going on will not interfere with my post.
Well let's see we are at Challenge #20 ...  Have you joined us yet? Oh come on it's not too late. Seriously the rules sand guidelines are few; easy to follow ... go look at them on our hostesses blog http://lindaledbetter.com/2015/01/compendium-of-curiosities-3-challenge-20.html. Linda Ledbetter and the Curiosity Crew would love to have you. What is the Challenge you ask ?  We are exploring the techniques and products of amazingly talented and creative Tim Holtz  from his book A Compendium of Curiosities  Volume III.  You follow along in his book, do the challenge and link it to the site... easy to do! Why should YOU do the challenge? Because it's fun, you learn new techniques AND we have amazing sponsors with fabulous prizes. This weeks sponsor is The Funkie Junkie Boutique  http://www.thefunkiejunkie.com/Default.asp ... if you are the lucky winner you get  a $25 shopping spree in their boutique. Have you checked them out? I've got my eyes on the new Flower Garden Stamp set they are showing on their page... love it! If that's not enough of a reason, The Curiosity Crew has a Curiosity Choice Award... a  box of goodies from Tim Holtz himself package with love by the gorgeous Mario ! So now you wanna know What to do ... you need ideas?? Check out the projects done by Linda Ledbetter and the Curiosity Crew. Their projects are amazing and packed with inspiration. To be eligible for the awesome prizes you will need to go and visit their blogs and show them some love ( leave them a comment)... you can do it ... go ahead !!

Well now let's get started shall we ... this weeks challenge is  Distress Watercoloring Part 2 found on page 40. You will enjoy this one ... I sure did. NO ... I'm not going to give you instructions ... OPEN YOUR BOOK... come play with us!

I'm so proud of myself... I'm using my Tim toys! For this challenge my weapons of choice were Tim Holtz's Classic #8 Stamp set, Calendar 1, Little Labels  and Odds and Ends Stamp sets. For my embellishments I used Tim's Ideology number brads, heart charms, adornment arrows, corked vials, vials labels , label letters, postale tissue wrap and cordinations paper. I also used the alterations ticket die.  And a few other misc. things from my stash . Told you I love my Tim toys !

That Classic # 8 Stamp set is so very cool. I love the details ! So I accidently hit the wrong button and the photo ... below wasn't the best ... but I wanted you to see the embellishments on the bottom.

I created this Valentine card using the techniques on page 40.
Hope you enjoyed it and hope to see your project too ! Don't for get to show the Curiosity Crew some love... See you again soon !
